Bucharest

A Brief History Of Bucharest From Yesterday to Today…

Bucharest, Romania was a grand city, situated directly between the Carpathian Mountains of Transylvania and the shipping coast of the Black Sea. Known as the “Paris of The East” Bucharest is home to many belle-epoque style buildings and cafes reminiscent of the “storybook” European towns.

With the long journey through communism still visible throughout Bucharest with the remnants of communist buildings scattered throughout the city, and a way of being that is just “coming out of it’s shell” since the 1989 overthrow of the regime.

Bucharest is on an upswing. The restoration of “old town” Lipscani is ongoing, and the re-development of many local areas and past hot-spots are doing wonders to spur ongoing growth and economic development. Although the “Crisis” is still lingering, one wouldn’t know by looking at the luxury that is virtually on every street corner.

Come enjoy Bucharest for everything it has to offer.. past, present, and what is just around the corner.
